Completed annual prepaid maintenance inspection on water conditioning system, including acid neutralizer, water softener, and filtration components. Identified multiple issues affecting system performance across all three units: acid neutralizer showing signs of media depletion and potential control valve malfunction, water softener exhibiting brine tank irregularities and resin bed concerns, and filter housing displaying wear on seals and mounting hardware. Documented all equipment conditions with photographs and provided comprehensive estimates for both repair options and full replacement considerations to restore proper water treatment functionality.
Responded to a recall service for toilet reconnection. Upon inspection, discovered water supply line was disconnected and concealed within spray foam insulation. Successfully located and reconnected the water line, restoring proper water flow to toilet. Verified functionality after completion.
Successfully removed existing tankless water heater and metal venting, then installed new Rinnai RX199iN unit (field converted to LP) with 199,000 BTU capacity as recommended by manufacturer. Modified existing water lines to accommodate new unit, installed tankless flush valve kit for isolation and future service, altered 3/4" gas piping, and installed 2" PVC fresh air intake and exhaust venting through sill plate with partial ceiling removal in mechanical room. Connected 3/4" PVC condensate line to floor drain and temporarily relocated water conditioner during installation before returning it to original position upon completion.
Completed annual prepaid preventative maintenance on residential water treatment system, including inspection of water heater, blue WELL-X-TROL pressure tank, and water filtration components. Verified proper operation of water softener unit with digital control panel and confirmed all connections, valves, and pressure readings were within normal operating parameters.
Removed existing water heater and wooden stand, then installed new Bradford White RE250T6 50 gallon electric water heater with all necessary water and electrical line modifications. Installed 10" x 4.5" Big Blue wall mounted filter system with 3-valve bypass assembly using copper and brass fittings, including a Pentek GAC-BB Granular Activated Carbon cartridge for water treatment.
