A house a few blocks from downtown Tomahawk may run on natural gas and city water. Drive toward Lake Mohawksin or farther into Lincoln County, and that can quickly change to propane heat, a private well, septic, and overhead electrical service. Frasier’s Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electrical serves both sides of Tomahawk, from older homes near the Wisconsin River to rural properties and newer lake homes beyond the city limits.
Frasier’s has served Northern Wisconsin since 1918 and dispatches roughly 20 trucks throughout the region each day. When you need help with the systems that keep your Tomahawk home running, call (715) 804 0947 or contact us online to schedule service.
Built for the Mix of Homes Found Around Tomahawk
Tomahawk has a strong year-round identity that sets it apart from more tourism-heavy Northwoods communities. Older homes around the city reflect generations of logging, manufacturing, and local growth, while Lake Mohawksin and the surrounding countryside bring in custom homes, rural properties, and seasonal cabins. That creates a wide range of service needs, from aging boilers and older plumbing to modern modern generators, heat pumps, water treatment, and electrical upgrades.
Frasier’s works across heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, which matters when one project affects another. Replacing an old furnace may raise questions about ductwork or electrical capacity. Remodeling an older Tomahawk home can uncover plumbing and wiring installed decades apart. Our team can address those overlapping systems through one company.
Heating Services for Tomahawk, WI Homes
Tomahawk heating needs change depending on where you live. Natural Gas furnaces are common within developed parts of the city, while propane becomes a much bigger part of the picture on rural Lincoln County roads. Older houses can still have boilers, and radiant heat is common in some custom homes around Lake Mohawksin. During a stretch of below-zero weather, all of those systems need to be ready to run for long periods without interruption.
Frasier’s provides heating services throughout the Tomahawk area, including:
- Heating installation
- Heating repair
- Heating maintenance
- Boilers
- Heat pumps
- Furnaces
- Gas furnaces
- Electric furnaces
- Indoor air quality
- Commercial heating
Plumbing Services From Downtown Tomahawk to Rural Lincoln County
A plumbing call inside Tomahawk may involve an older water heater, drain line, toilet, or aging section of piping. Farther outside town, the conversation often includes the well pump, pressure tank, water quality, or freeze protection too. Iron, hardness, manganese, and sulfur can affect private well water throughout the region, while spring snowmelt around the Wisconsin River and Lake Mohawksin can put extra pressure on sump pumps and basement drainage.
Our Tomahawk plumbing services include:
- Drain and sewer services
- Emergency plumbing
- Repiping
- Water heaters
- Sump pumps
- Garbage disposals
- Water treatment
- Gas lines
- Well pumps
- Toilets
Electrical Services for Tomahawk’s Older and Newer Properties
Many older Tomahawk homes were built long before modern households needed to power central AC, large kitchen appliances, home offices, entertainment systems, and EV chargers at the same time. Remodels can expose panels that are already crowded, older wiring, or circuits added over several decades. Newer homes near Lake Mohawksin and outside the city may instead need electrical work for generators, shops, outdoor spaces, modern HVAC equipment, or higher-demand appliances.
Frasier’s can help with electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations such as:
- Ceiling fan installation
- Electrical panels
- Electrical inspections
- Rewiring
- Home remodeling electrical work
- Lighting
- Switches and outlets
- Whole-home generators
- EV chargers
Air Conditioning Services for Tomahawk Summers
Tomahawk summers are short compared with winter, but warm, humid stretches still make cooling important. Homes near the Wisconsin River and Lake Mohawksin can hold humidity, while upper floors in older houses may become uncomfortable even when nighttime temperatures cool down. Central AC is common in many updated homes, while ductless mini-splits can be a practical solution for older houses, additions, workshops, and cabins without existing ductwork.
Our air conditioning services in Tomahawk include:
- AC installation
- AC repair
- AC maintenance
- Ductless AC
- Indoor air quality
- Commercial AC
