Identified and documented leaking union at chilled water inlet of water heater, with visible corrosion at connection point. Estimate for union repair has been prepared for customer consideration.
Responded to emergency no-heat call for customer with aging furnace system. Diagnosed failed capacitor causing system failure. Removed worn capacitor and installed new JARD 12.5μF 370VAC replacement unit, restoring proper system operation.
Diagnosed no heat condition in boiler system where ambient basement temperature had fallen to 44°F. Upon inspection, identified failed inducer motor as the root cause. Removed defective component and installed new inducer motor. Tested system operation after repair, confirming proper ignition and heat production.
Diagnosed no heat complaint in aging system, confirming fan operation but lack of heat production. Inspection revealed faulty flame sensor causing system failure. Replaced defective flame sensor with new component to restore proper ignition sequence and heating function.
Completed annual preventive maintenance on boiler per prepaid agreement. Inspection revealed electrode assembly with significant deterioration and corrosion on the metal components. Electrode assembly was replaced with stock from service vehicle to restore proper system operation.
