Years in field of expertise: 18+ years of customer service

Hometown: Rhinelander

Moved to the Northwoods: 1972

What I enjoy most about my job: I enjoy everyone that I work with, and people in general. Whether it is talking with them on the telephone or face to face, I enjoy being around people and helping others.

Something that is tough, but rewarding about my job: Learning all the HVAC and Plumbing terminology, but with the help of the wonderful staff, I have caught on pretty quickly for the most part and feel the wonderful help has been so rewarding.

Favorite thing about working in downtown Rhinelander: I love the fact that I am working right downtown Rhinelander and able to do errands on my lunch time, keeping it local and go home if I would like and not have to drive quite a ways to work.

Favorite Northwoods community and why: I love living in Rhinelander as there is so much beauty here and there aren’t traffic jams. My husband and I grew up here and graduated from Rhinelander High School, raising our 3 Children whom all graduated from Rhinelander High School as well. I love all the wildlife and lakes.

Top 3 activities in the Northwoods: Watching Little League and High School Baseball, Fishing, Boating

Hobbies: My favorite hobby I would have to say is photography. I love capturing special moments whether it be a family member, friends, flowers, wildlife, or just a total stranger wanting me to capture some memories for them. I enjoy sewing, baking, fishing, and planting flowers.

Favorite sports team: Rhinelander Hodags, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers!!

What brings me the most joy in my life: My family brings the most joy to my life. Spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren brings great joy. I come from a large family and my parents both have come from large families so family reunions are a treasure! I look forward to spending time with family whenever I have the chance.

Personal hero and why: My dad is my personal hero. He taught me how to treat people with respect, have patience, love, and a good work ethic. When I lost my dad on Christmas Eve 2013 it made me realize what a great person he was, and the things that I have inherited from him makes me proud to know he taught me well, and I am happy to be the person I am today.

Favorite snack: DQ Peanut Buster Parfaits with pecans instead of peanuts, and adding strawberries to the hot fudge topped with whip cream!!
