What I enjoy most about my job: Working with our awesome team and helping our customers.
Something that is tough, but rewarding about my job: Learning the ins and outs of our service business from various angles after being a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom for 25 years – but I love learning!
Favorite thing about working in downtown Rhinelander: We’re close to restaurants and shops. Also, it’s nice to see the activity of the city in the different seasons and times of day.
Favorite Northwoods community and why: Rhinelander, because most everything we need is here and we’re central to so many great smaller Northwoods communities making it easy to enjoy what they have to offer as well.
Top 3 activities in the Northwoods: Walking outdoors (when it’s warm!), trying new restaurants, observing nature throughout the seasons
Hobbies: Feeding & watching birds, growing orchids, enjoying nature around me wherever I am and being “Grandma”
Favorite sports team: The Packers, of course!
What brings me the most joy in my life: My family – my husband, Phil, and I have celebrated 33 years of marriage and have 5 great kids, each married to their amazing soulmate, and we have 6 grand kids we adore.
Personal hero and why: People who have endured incredible hardships but are allowing the hardships to be part of their ongoing story, continuing to grow and give themselves to those around them and to their corner of the world.
