Hearts & Heroes December 2012 Recipient:  Zion Evangelical Ministries of Africa

Location:  Zion, IL and Southern Africa

I serve as a Missionary for ZEMA and I am currently located in South Africa. ZEMA's main focus is to provide Bible Schools for the Zionist Religious group throughout Southern Africa. My main responsibilities within ZEMA are mostly administrative, including bookkeeping and scheduling camps at Sunbury Christian Camp, where I work and live in South Africa. Sunbury operates as a location for the Bible Schools we offer to the Zionists. I also tutor kids in the nearby community, and teach Bible studies to Zionist College students. I appreciate your interest in ZEMA and our ministry to make Christ known to the Zionists. Hearts & Heroes February and March Recipient:  Jack and Jane Hager Family.

Jack and Jane Hager have worked with teenagers around the country for over 30 years. Jack was a key person in Phil Frasier’s life in the early 1980’s and Jack continues to work with young people with the same energy and passion today.

Jack served our country in the Viet Nam war, for that he is a hero! Jack now reaches people with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ and enjoys watching people transformed by that message. Jack and Jane serve with Midland Ministries in St. Joseph, MO. 

It is a privilege to share the first gift from Hearts and Heroes with the Hager family.
